Something I’ve been dreaming of FOR YEARS …
For the first time EVER, I am making a record entirely in the analog domain … from the initial recording all the way through the final mix … no digital shortcuts, just tape, instruments, microphones, and people in a room … I believe DANCE ACROSS THE SKY is going to be the BEST record I’ve EVER made !
And I wanted to make this pre-sale just as special !

the Violet LPs are ONLY for the first pressing … they will NEVER be made again … EVER :)
Dance Across the Sky was recorded, mixed, and mastered ALL ANALOG … therefore, all LPs, Test Pressings, and Reel to Reel formats where NEVER converted to digital … however, Digital Downloads and CDs were :)
Orders will ship before the March 1st 2027 official release … consider it a late holiday present to yourself :)

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS ALBUM?
When listening to DANCE ACROSS THE SKY … it is my highest hope that you are taken on AN ADVENTURE ! Not just into the music, but into a world of its own … a place of wonder and peace … a little refuge from this crazy world, if only for a while
DANCE ACROSS THE SKY began with a simple impulse … to look up, imagine, and let the world fall quiet for a moment … it became a meditation (or even better, an INVITATION) … to dream, to ponder, and yes even to dance a little bit :)
There will be about 7 songs … last about 40 minutes (a true LP) … with 2vocal songs featuring Marisol Llaudes (who was featured on ¡ KRL ! and Past Lives)
I’ve also sought to explore new sonic landscapes … finding inspiration in Brazilian and South African music traditions … this album is a little more focused on groove, buoyancy, and texture … as well as incorporating other sounds such as the analog tape saturation, upright piano, and Fender Rhodes !
Another way in which DANCE ACROSS THE SKY is different, is that it is the first album that I recorded, mixed, and mastered ENTIRELY in ANALOG !!!
You heard me correctly … all analog … these sounds were NEVER converted to 1’s and 0’s … a TRUE AAA recording !!!
I hope that these sounds inspire you, make you think, and take you on a journey to a place full of magic and wonder :)

When do pre-sale orders ship ?
Pre-orders will ship prior to the March 1st 2027 release … it’s really hard to predict when large order will be manufactured (especially vinyl orders) … so, I’ll be in touch if anything changes … I know that’s a long time from now, but think of it as a late holiday present to yourself !!!

YES ! Not only was it recorded to tape it was mixed and mastered analog as well … making it my first TRUE AAA recording ever !
What is AAA ???
AAA means recorded analog, mixed analog, mastered analog … it is the gold standard in audio, ensuring that the audio is NEVER converted to digital … very few albums are produced this way in the modern era, due to cost of production and specialized skills involved
