/// PHILLY … tickets are selling FAST ///
/// here’s the deal ///
This year I wrote a new album while living out of my car on an EPIC tour across the US !!! The ensuing album … called PAST LIVES … has just released and I am having the OFFICIAL Album Release Concert right here in PHILADELPHIA !!!
To celebrate this historic release, I would absolutely LOVE it if you joined me and my INCREDIBLE band at Black Squirrel Club in FISHTOWN … it is my FAVORITE venue on the planet … and for TWO NIGHTS ONLY we are going to honor the music of PAST LIVES !
The evening will feature my band, vocalist Marisol Llaudes, and the Past Lives String Quartet !!! A truly remarkable lineup that won’t anywhere else on my 2026 tour !!!
The good news ?
YOU are INVITED to this ONCE IN A LIFETIME EVENT !
The even BETTER news ???
You have TWO chances to see us … March 27th AND March 28th !!!
The bad news ?
SPACE is LIMITED !
My last show at Black Squirrel Club SOLD OUT in a week and I’d hate for you to miss it … who knows when I’ll perform this music again ???
/// new to my music ? not sure what to expect ??? ///
I totally understand if you’ve just stumbled across me on the internet and aren’t sure what to make of me or my music … here what a few knowledgeable people have been saying …
================================
"Somewhere between Charles Mingus and Johnny Greenwood there is a sound that bassist/composer Nicholas Krolak seeks."
"A young veteran of the Philadelphia music scene. He has spent the last decade working as a side-man, experiencing new styles, and studying with the masters. Now, he has taken all he has learned and is applying it to his own artistic adventures."
"Tracing the lineage of bebop into the contemporary, while constantly balancing the pulse of the city and the mysticism of nature: he has been described as…"
“a different kind of songwriter—perhaps a different kind of jazz musician altogether. He’s like the bass playing, modern embodiment of Walt Whitman. And, just as Whitman used his prose poems, Krolak uses his music to celebrate and also reconcile the competing and contradictory nature of the two worlds he straddles: the natural and the urban."
